Recently, I had the pleasure to work with the amazing model David from D1 modeling agency in my studio in East London.
I captured David in three different lighting setups using two Profoto D1 strobes with 5″ octabox and color gels.
For the first lighting setup, I positioned the octabox facing down to the left hand side of the model as the main light. For the second Profoto head, I placed a red color gel and aimed it towards the right hand from the back of the model. That red tone resulted in a really nice effect which was complimentary with David’s skin tone.
For the second lighting setup, I exchanged the back strobe from the right to the left hand side and I added a blue gel (LEE Filters 119).
For the last lighting setup, I removed the back strobe and I shot with only one strobe and a 5″ Octabox.
